Any visitor having been previously convicted of a felony involving violence or bringing contraband into a jail will not be allowed to visit without written permission of the Commanding Officer.Any visitor who has been confined in the Alameda County Jail System within the last six (6) months cannot visit an inmate without prior written or verbal authorization from the Commanding Officer or his/her designee.Any person violating a law, rule or regulation while visiting shall be subject to warning, termination of their visit, or suspension. Any adult bringing a minor into the facility shall provide legal documentation (birth certificate) showing the minor's name and relationship to visitor and/or inmate.Īny person entering Santa Rita Jail for the purpose of visiting an inmate shall be subject to all applicable laws, rules and regulations.All minors (17 years and younger) entering the facility for public visiting must be accompanied by an adult.Official identification issued by a government agency.To ensure you have your full scheduled visit, please be sure to arrive early enough to give yourself ample time to check in with lobby staff and be screened by the visiting deputies.Īll scheduled visits will start on time. Social distancing practices will be enforced regardless of vaccination status. The group must manage their own time session for their visit. The group may rotate visitors during their visiting session.
